Sunrise Engagement Session

Sunrise or sunset engagement photography? With the wedding season around the corner, I am sure every one of you newly engaged couples are planning your engagement photo session.

Sunsets are beautiful, no doubt in that, but recently I was lucky to witness the most beautiful sunrise I could ever see. Everyone documents sunset photos because they are freakishly awesome.

Recently, I documented a beautiful sunrise engagement session with Pasqualina and Shane.

When I initially spoke to Pasqualina, I asked her what she wants her engagement photo session to be. Without thinking for a second she said “ I want a sunrise session, I don’t care how early we will have to be up”. Following this, a big smile popped on our faces.

Sometimes our day-to-day experiences surprise us with moments and people that will change our lives forever. Pasqualina and Shane met during their usual shift at Dairy Queen during their teenage years, and today, they celebrated their 14 year anniversary as a couple. Little did these kids know that an Ice Cream parlour will turn into a little cupid parlour.

Ice cream certainly does have a way of bringing people together, doesn’t it?

Shawn popped up “ The Question” during a thrilling helicopter ride at Niagara Falls and Pasqualina was melted again.

It was such a pleasure to document their love story during this enormous sunrise and I cannot wait to document their wedding day on May 7th.

This intimate engagement session took place at the beautiful R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant in Toronto, Ontario. R.C. Harris is known for its landscape, beauty, and wonderful architecture which made this photo session even prettier.
